Security & Patrol Drone Batteries
Semi-solid-state packs for perimeter patrol, traffic monitoring, public safety and drone-in-a-box systems that fly many sorties a day, day and night.
| Typical pack | 6S–12S, 15–40Ah |
|---|---|
| Cell energy density | 270–350 Wh/kg |
| BMS | Protocol matched to docks and autopilots |
Round-the-clock coverage puts batteries to work
Security and public-safety drones fly short, frequent missions on a schedule or on alarm. The battery has to recharge quickly, report its state accurately and deliver the same flight time month after month.
Frequent, scheduled sorties
Perimeter and site patrols repeat the same route many times a day. Packs need to hold their capacity across many cycles so patrol timing stays predictable.
Drone docks and automation
Drone-in-a-box systems charge the battery between flights without a person present. The BMS must talk to the dock, accept its charging profile and report health on its own.
Night and all-weather work
Patrols continue at night and in cold weather. Wide-temperature semi-solid-state cells keep discharge strong below -20°C.
Payload power
Spotlights, loudspeakers, zoom and thermal cameras add a steady power draw. Capacity is sized for the payload, not only for the airframe.
How we configure a security or dock pack
Most security projects are fleets, so consistency between packs and integration with the dock matter as much as the specification sheet.
| Series and capacity | 6S and 12S packs from 15Ah to 40Ah for patrol multirotors; other sizes for custom airframes. |
|---|---|
| Cell grade | SLD3 at 350 Wh/kg for endurance; SLD1 and SLD2 at 270–320 Wh/kg as a cost-effective step up from LiPo for large fleets. |
| Dock integration | Communication protocol, charging profile and connectors adapted to your dock or charging station. |
| Unattended charging | Higher thermal stability than LiPo, which matters for packs charged unattended in docks and on rooftops. |
| Branding | White-label packs for drone and dock OEMs, with your logo, labels and case design. |

Frequently asked questions
What battery is best for a drone-in-a-box or docking station?
Dock-based drones need packs that charge automatically, report their state to the dock and stay safe during unattended charging. We adapt the BMS protocol, charging profile and connectors to your dock, and semi-solid-state cells add thermal stability.
How long can a security patrol drone fly on one battery?
Flight time depends on airframe weight, payload and speed. Moving from LiPo to 350 Wh/kg semi-solid-state cells raises stored energy per kilogram by 20–50%, which you can use for longer patrols or heavier payloads. Share your current flight data and we will estimate the gain.
Do you offer lower-cost packs for large fleets?
Yes. Our SLD1 and SLD2 series use 270–320 Wh/kg cells, a reliable step up from LiPo at a lower cost than our 350–400 Wh/kg ranges.
Can you supply white-label batteries for our drone brand?
Yes. We build OEM and ODM packs with your logo, labels and case design, and support joint development for new platforms.
