Agricultural Spraying Drone Batteries
Smart 14S and 18S lithium packs with 15C discharge, built for spraying, spreading and seeding drones that fly short, heavy sorties from dawn to dusk.
| Typical pack | 14S or 18S, 22–30Ah |
|---|---|
| Discharge | 15C continuous |
| BMS | Smart, with balancing and data link |
Why spraying drones are hard on batteries
An agricultural drone takes off close to its maximum weight, works low over the crop and lands to refill every few minutes. The battery sees peak current on every sortie and has almost no time to rest.
High current at every take-off
A full tank of liquid or granules demands peak power at each lift-off. A 15C rating keeps voltage up under load so the aircraft holds its line in gusts.
Fast turnaround between sorties
Crews rotate packs through chargers all day. The cells must accept repeated charging and the BMS has to keep them balanced through a long season.
Heat, dust and chemicals
Field work means high ambient temperatures, fertiliser dust and spray drift. A sealed, washable case and temperature protection keep the pack safe to handle and fly.
Data the operator can trust
State of charge, temperature and fault data sent to the flight controller let crews plan sorties and retire tired packs before they cause a problem.
How we configure an agricultural pack
Our standard smart packs cover the most common sprayer platforms. Every item below can be adapted for an OEM airframe.
| Voltage platform | 14S (53.2V nominal) for mid-size sprayers, 18S (68.4V) for large-tank aircraft. Other series counts on request. |
|---|---|
| Capacity | 22Ah and 30Ah standard, sized to tank volume and sortie length. |
| Discharge rating | 15C continuous for heavy, repeated take-offs. |
| Smart BMS | Cell balancing, over-current and temperature protection, plus communication with the flight controller. Protocol and connector adapted to your platform. |
| Charging | Multi-channel EV-PEAK UAV chargers matched to the pack, so a field crew can keep a full rotation ready. |
| Branding | White-label case, labels and packaging for drone OEMs. |
Recommended agricultural drone batteries
Standard smart packs and a four-channel charger for 14S fleets. Dimensions, connectors and BMS protocol can be customised; for 18S fleets we match a high-cell-count charger.

Frequently asked questions
What battery voltage do agricultural spraying drones use?
Most mid-size spraying drones run on 14S packs (about 53V nominal). Larger aircraft with heavier tanks often move to 18S (about 68V) to keep current down. We supply both and can build other series counts for custom airframes.
Why do spraying drones need 15C batteries?
A loaded sprayer draws very high current during take-off and climb. A 15C pack keeps voltage stable under that load, which protects flight performance and reduces stress on the cells.
Can you match the BMS to my flight controller?
Yes. Our smart packs integrate a BMS with balancing, protection and communication, and we adapt the communication protocol and connector to your platform.
Do you use semi-solid-state cells in spraying drone batteries?
Spraying fleets usually prioritise discharge rate and fast charging, so our standard agricultural packs are high-rate smart lithium packs. For long-range seeding or survey flights where endurance matters more, compare our 350–400 Wh/kg semi-solid-state packs.
How many batteries does one spraying drone need?
Many operators run two or three packs per aircraft so one can fly while the others charge. We size packs and chargers together so charging time fits your sortie cycle.
