Heavy-Lift & Delivery Drone Batteries

High-voltage semi-solid-state packs from 12S to 24S and up to 150Ah, for cargo, logistics and sling-load drones where every kilogram of battery competes with payload.

The heavy-lift battery problem

On a cargo drone the battery is often the heaviest single component. Add capacity and you lose payload; cut capacity and you lose range. Higher energy density is the way to improve both.

Payload against range

At 350–400 Wh/kg cell energy density, a semi-solid-state pack stores more energy for the same mass than conventional LiPo. You decide whether to spend it on payload, distance or reserve.

High voltage, lower current

12S to 24S platforms keep current and cable weight down on large motors. We build standard packs up to 24S 105Ah, and 14S up to 150Ah.

Take-off and hover loads

Sling loads and winch work demand sustained hover power plus bursts at lift-off. Packs are rated for continuous and peak discharge so voltage sag stays predictable.

Remote, rough sites

Mountain, desert and island deliveries bring temperature swings and long transport. Wide-temperature cells and a rigid case keep the pack ready when it arrives.

How we configure a heavy-lift pack

Start from your airframe weight, payload and route length. These are the levers we tune.

Series and voltage12S, 14S, 18S and 24S standard; other series counts to match your ESCs and motors.
Capacity and energy33Ah to 150Ah. Our largest standard 24S pack stores about 9.3 kWh.
Cell gradeSLD4 (400 Wh/kg) for maximum range, SLD3 (350 Wh/kg) for a balance of cost and density, SLDHP high-power 6S packs for high-current builds.
Pack layoutSingle packs or dual-pack layouts with matched capacity, for redundancy and easier handling.
BMS and dataProtection, balancing and state-of-charge reporting, with the protocol matched to your flight controller.

Frequently asked questions

Heavy-lift drones usually run 12S to 24S. Higher voltage reduces current for the same power, which means lighter wiring and cooler motors and ESCs. We build standard packs at 12S, 14S, 18S and 24S and can match other configurations.

It depends on the airframe, but the gain comes from energy density: our cells reach 350–400 Wh/kg, 20–50% higher than conventional LiPo. For the same battery weight you carry more energy, which you can use for longer flights or heavier payloads. Send us your current pack data and we will estimate the gain.

Our standard range goes up to 150Ah at 14S and 105Ah at 24S (about 9.3 kWh). Larger capacities and split-pack designs are available as custom projects.
